Therapeutic Imagery & Dialogue

Dora Franco, B.Sc., D.O., BI-D, ( www.terapia-sacrocraniana.blogspot.com ) completed the Course Therapeutic Imagery and Dialogue . This Course, developed by Stan Gerome, offered a dynamic adjunct to the work of CranioSacral Therapy (CST). It was designed to help highly qualified therapists to access the patient's Inner Physician by using the cranial rhythm, the soft touch of CST and the interweaving concepts of Dr. Carl Jung, Dr. Friedrich Perls and Dr. Roberto Assagioli. Through this method therapists are guided by imagery as it is presented by the patient rather than serving as the guide to imagery.

The Course presented and explored techniques to bring your nonconscious into a more material existence, allowing therapist to practice drawing your nonconscious images and dialoguing with them face to face.

The Course highlighted very important concepts, such as learning how to use sounding vowels and other internal vibrations, along with a 10-step protocol designed to enhance imagery and dialogue.

Combined with this Course it was discussed in greater detail Dr. Upledger's ideas on imagery and dialogue and the psychosynthesis map.

At the end of The Course, therapists could put into practice the lessons learned using the significance detector.
